Frequently asked questions
How do I place an order?
All original paintings are clearly labelled in price. Additional buying options can be found in the online shop.
For an original Amatina painting, Postage & packaging to any address in mainland UK is included. To anyone outside of the UK, please contact Team Amatina directly, as each country has a different delivery rate depending on the country you are buying from. Do rest assured, however, that Amatina's courier is well sourced & has competitive rates. In addition - £20 for P&P (the rate that UK customers pay) will always be deducted for international customers.
How do I pay?
The simplest way to pay is to click on the 'Buy Now' logo & follow the instructions that appear. You can pay via PayPal or Debit/Credit card. Order details can be added into the 'descriptions' field, including the painting name, format required, quantity & delivery charge.
Cash payments are also available to those that live in the Berkshire (and nearby surrounding), UK area and other face-to-face sales. Again - please contact Team Amatina for more details on how to proceed with this option.
When will my purchase be delivered and how will it be packaged?
Once an order is placed, Team Amatina will prepare the shipping within 48 hours. After being carefully packaged, your order will arrive within three working days if you are based in the UK. For those who are based outside of the UK, your delivery time will be confirmed & communicated to you via email.
Express delivery options are available, e.g. same day or next day guaranteed delivery, though please get in touch directly for availability & prices.
Each order is trustily delivered using Amatina's dedicated courier service, who ensure that every item is fully insured & tracked along its journey to you.
In the unforeseen event that a painting is damaged upon arrival during transit – a full refund, including delivery charges will be arranged via Team Amatina. Please take photos of any damage so we can inform our courier.
Once your painting has arrived, you will see that it comes ready with screw hooks & a hanging wire, so it can be hung up with ease. Amatina's work is largely on canvas & does not require a frame. This is to enable full breathing space around the painting - whichever wall you choose to put it on.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
There is normally a reason why someone is drawn to a particular Amatina painting, so it is strongly believed that each purchase was meant for that particular being. Having said that; if you do change your mind within seven days of receiving your item, feel free to return the painting & you will receive a full refund - excluding return postage costs. No questions asked.
To do an exchange - you will need to send back your original order. Once this has been received, then your exchange item/s will be sent out to you under the usual delivery terms.
Do you work to commission?
This is a popular option, as commissions depict a particularly personal touch, & work well as a thoughtful & personalised gift. Do please note that Amatina is an abstract colourist painter who works largely with acrylics - so commissions will be created in this style.
Longer term, custom projects are also considered if a series of paintings is required, for instance to fill an office, hotel or restaurant space with a continuous theme.
To place an order for a commission, please contact Amatina directly with details of:
-
Size of painting/s
-
Colours
-
Budget
-
Time-frame
-
Any specifics required
All commissioned work requires a 50% down payment of the total cost up front, to cover material costs, as well as acting as a deposit. The remaining 50% is paid upon completion.
There are two viewings available during the creation of the commission - three viewings for those that are particularly complex. After each viewing, revisions can be made.
Custom work can take anytime between 2 weeks to 2 months depending on schedules, complexity of the commission & the extent of revisions requested.
Are there other print sizes available for purchase?
There is some flexibility in print sizes outside of those offered. If there’s a particular size or finish you are after (e.g. gloss), then please contact Team Amatina directly with your enquiry.
How I can be sure that the original paintings are authentic?
Each painting is signed & dated on the front & back with Amatina’s signature & denotes its authenticity.
Can I see Amatina’s work in progress?
You can, indeed! Please follow the social media links located at the top left & bottom of each page, along with the 'Blog' page for features and photos of Amatina's paintings.
